(and other places) it does this: @if exist $(LIB_DIROBJ)\$(LIB_NAME_DLL) copy $(LIB_DIROBJ)\$(LIB_NAME_DLL) $(DIRDIST)\bin\ /y >nul 2<&1 That "2<&1" at the end of the line breaks it.
