Can you be more precise about the working environment? (wine version, installed
components, is ie8 installed...)

A winxp 32bit environment doesn't work for me (note content is still not
displayed), using wine-2.0-rc4 packages from winhq with Ubuntu 16.04 - even
after installation of ie8.
