I noticed in your full +relay,+crypt log that quite a few certs were rejected due to bad usage. These could be the source of untrusted roots. Oops. Please apply that patch and try again.
More testing and no love (although I feel it's close) I got the latest git pull as of this morning (which seems to have included the above patch) and still no love. I can see in the log output that I am still getting "trace:crypt:CryptDecodeObjectEx returning 1" which I am assuming is a failure (zero being success). I have verified that I have imported the self-signed certificate as both a trusted and CA certificate (certmgr -list -c Trust and again with CA). Once again, you can find log output at http://www.thegrumans.net/transfer/vmInfrastructureClient_run.11052009-2.par.... I truncated this log at 1.1 million lines.
