Hi There,
My setup is a mac with Mojave OS 10.14.4, have been running Wine 1.8.6, just fine prior to the actual version. It seems Wine starts but I don't see the Wine icon saying is ready, when I try to run Acestream, it tells me after awhile, that I can not connect to engine. I have done some troubleshooting, my conclusion is that Mojave 10.14.4 is creating a conflict from Wine 1.8.6 acting normal.
This sounds like it's a separate issue from what this bug report is about. Please open a new bug report about that. In any case, Wine 1.8.6 is very old. You should try with a new version. The Mac preloader patches I mentioned previously have since been accepted and included in Wine 4.1. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
