Have you installed visual basic runtime 6? Is there a download/demo of this available anywhere showing the same problem?

I've already installed oleaut32.dll (all lower-case). olepro32.dll (lower-case) also is present,as is MSVBVM60.DLL. I tried Legacy again just in case, but it fails as before. With one slight change from what I reported. When it freezes, if I click the close button (top right) I'm asked if I want to terminate. I do, and it's possible to retry without re-installing. On doing this, once, it did terminate itself, but with a seg. fault.
