I was doing regression test while I figured out that something is wrong that I got black screen on every build...well we found out that you need to play the game as windowed mode (you can select this from game's setup before launching game).
I am speaking about the demo version now, don't have the full game.
Testing wine-1.7.16-34-g2fbbe14 now (from git)
The same version here on my laptop, but with intel/mesa, and full screen renders. My WM panel shows over the game though (I'll attach a screenshot and terminal output, fwiw).
