I just received a message from Greg K-H. He said that my bug report didn't get
posted because of the bad url that I used.  I knew that already and tried a
different one which didn't work either.   I guess I need for formally register
to the mailing list.

He told me to contact the committer of the SHA1 tjb identified in the first
post.
