Hey Naan,

you can apply the patch from comment #37. I haven't gone and cleaned it up for
submission, but it would be nice to know if it fixes the problem for you.

As an aside, I use a wired usb logitech controller and the game also crashes if
I disconnect it, that's something I'd like to also fix.
