Follow up.
I've tried wine-1.0-rc1, but it too failed. So, tried a new .wine and Legacy backup works now. Then re-installed the dlls etc. and all looks good so far. Do you still have the .wine that didn't work? If so, please back it up and save a copy...We're looking for bugs that wineprefixcreate isn't fixing (such as this).

The previously reported bug on copy/paste crashing still is present.
What bug # is that?
Bug 11959 for copy/paste issue. Bug 11979 for check for online update also is still present. The basic functionality otherwise seems OK.
