For any test results, it's critical to know if you have a functioning 32-bit
gstreamer setup and if winegstreamer is built. I bet the issue here is
winegstreamer was not built or loaded before, but is built and loaded now that
we have 1.0 support.

You could try disabling winegstreamer in winecfg and see if that works around
the issue.
