wine (non-staging) 5.14 did manage to create the wineboot thing. However the
next step to install dotnet472 with winetricks totally failed -- because NO
VISUALS. exactly like with wine-staging trying to run anything.

running anything with the debug options generates too much spam I can't even
copy it out of the terminal without it crashing on "Select All".
