Oops, I filed this so long ago, that I forgot about certain parts of this bug:
"case REGEDIT4: in ja_JP.utf8 saved correctly as CP932, in pl_PL.utf8 - not:
question marks in place of kana/kanji"
- that part is probably still broken.
