using winetricks I installed direct X 9, IE 6,MS installer <msi2> and all MS Corefonts these are prerequisites for the installation of yahoo messenger.
Who says that? Just tested the installer from http://download.yimg.com/ycs/msg/dl/msgr10/us/ga1/msgr10us.exe and it installs just fine here.... I'm marking this invalid for now.
