Seems like this patch works for l4d engine (and any source engine) games as well. Played Alien Swarm with this patch, no lag spikes as well (played for ~90 minutes). How do you do it? My FPS in Alien Swarm only about 15. Sorry for Offtopic.
Again offtopic (but it is still source game). Alien Swarm is 9 fps for me. Lags very rarely on 2-3 players tho, but will almost always lag with 4 players. :( Patch helps tf2 game only. Sadly.
