This also affects EVE Online, but in my case *only* if I also have Synergy
running (with EVE running on the same machine as the Synergy server, i.e. it's
not being controlled remotely). I bisected this to the exact same commit
mentioned above and reverting it fixes the issue and lets met play EVE while
running Synergy at the same time again.
