OK.... I managed to do this myself... I have libxcb installed and at least for 1/2 hour the game has not hanged itself :).
I would wait a bit while I do a bit more testing before declaring this a duplicate of bug 31406. However, it is indeed beginning to look like that is the problem.
I will report back in a couple of days to let everyone know how its going.
Ok, maybe it fixed it for you, but not for me. I'm running lubuntu with wine 1.5.15, and for the libxcb1.9 build ran the command: LD_LIBRARY_PATH=./libxcb/libxcb/src/.libs wine Launcher.exe Maybe I have a different issue...? I can sometimes get into the game but it freezes after a few seconds.
