When I tried to open the in-game store, AwesomiumProcess crashed to the exact same place as it did for you. So, I think this could be it!! :)
I just used a clean WINEPREFIX and loaded my valid running AO and guess what ? The shop crashed. It was fixed after i installed the corefonts via winetricks. Is this the illegal addressed threads, caused by non existing registry (font-) entries so it returns something corrupt ?
