Did I understand correctly that you never reach the login prompt?
Which installer were you using, OriginThinSetup.exe or OriginSetup.exe?
In a clean wineprefix?

I have the current version 9.5.3.636 of both and they start up flawlessly, when
I test them in a new clean wineprefix.

Debian Jessie (testing), amd64, wine-development 1.7.34.
