I always had corefonts installed both via winetricks and on my system, yet store remains black and never loads. I tried reinstalling fonts to no avail.

Store used to work last time I check which was months ago, and it doesn't work now.
You maybe changed the Windows version in winecfg (default is Windows XP). When using a non-default version you might encounter various additional issues.
