Oh, I see!
The usual "dependencies hell" problem.
You can't have the latest binaries, without having a bleeding edge distro.
Kinda strange, but Debian already has v.1.7.52 ready for installation (from
backports).

Personally, I'm returning back to my roots and migrating to Debian these days,
so I can test it there and see what's happening.
So I'll be back asap (hopefully). :-)
