[Bug 25138] Black and White 2 demo crashes on startup ( ID3DXEffect interface changes between d3dx9_xx versions)

Yes, it fixes the problem as mentioned in comment 9. Without patches it crashes
immediately and with patches still sitting in staging it continues to game's
splash screen and crashes probably because of bug 25857 .

Still present in wine-1.9.21.
