Probably a dup of, or depends on, bug 29669 (which has more detail).

That message is kind of expected.  Linux kernel is a bit confused
about those extra two bytes, but the truncation doesn't seem to hurt
the disc check in Dragon Age Origins, which works once bug 29669 is fixed.
