In fact when trying to correct the case of the whole path and file, a google implies its a good routine to use to pass each part of the directory tree through Problem: If findfirstfile isnt passed a wildcard, it looks for the file in question and if it exists, returns the case of the file as supplied, not the case as it is on disk Try supplied testcase.
