Terminal output? You said 'up until now', what changed? Wine version, video driver, Steam update?
Sorry about that...I'm attaching a log file of all output from starting steam to when the game crashes. By "up until now" I mean - I did a fresh install of steam with wine 1.1.44 and the game doesn't work. I then upgraded to 1.2 and the same thing happened.
