It's a duplicate of bug 4860. The software uses j2re1.4.2, and has it's own copy. I removed this, symlinked in my own j2re1.5.0_10 and it installs, installing it's own version of java as well. Adding my Digital Certificate should allow me to log on, but no joy so far. https://www.ros.ie/java/javachecker.jsp shows no java :-(.
