http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27091 Jeff Zaroyko <jeffz(a)jeffz.name> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution| |INVALID --- Comment #21 from Jeff Zaroyko <jeffz(a)jeffz.name> 2011-05-20 03:16:00 CDT --- Many applications when installed have their shortcut properties set to make the working directory where the location of the installed files are, which is why they don't crash on Windows. When you run an application outside of it's installation directory it may assume the above and then crash due to lack of error handling. Sounds invalid to me. If you wanted to, you could test the theory on windows by starting the game using cmd, from c:\ for example. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
