I wasn't able to reproduce this issue and as you've mentioned yourself, it doesn't happen on every system. I'll reset the status to NEW, but it would be good if someone that uses one of the affected systems tests this.
ok - debian 11 bullseye wine 8 pegasus 4.73 loaded with IE renderer errors. pegasus 4.8 would not even start, crashed at login followed the helpful suggestion posted in appdb.winehq.org by Michael Setzer II uninstalled ierenderer using unins000.exe deleted the ierenderer folder with remaining file. pegasus 4.8 started but upon opening an html email it crashed created C:/TEMP and as described in Bearhtml-readme.txt also created :\pmail\mail\username\bearhtml.log and made them writeable now Pegasus 4.8 loads and opens htnl email without problems -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
