Steps to simulate the same kind of error log: log in with username in the command line type tell %username% :) where %username% is the username you used to log in. What was happening is that someone would shout a message with an 'emoticon' - this causes the main type of crash in the error logs here. SOLUTION: To stop BabasChess from crashing, in the manner initially stated, go to file--preferences, click console tab, and uncheck 'use emoticons'.
