You could try setting OffscreenRenderingMode to backbuffer instead of fbo. Touhou 11 went down to 19 fps for me when fbo became the default OffscreenRenderingMode. I still get close to 60 fps when backbuffer is used. Tried that now, didn't help. Also, my framerate reduction is much more dramatic, you have to count it in "seconds per frame" instead of "frames per second" :>

Sounds like the GL driver is not properly installed. Do native Linux apps work? Yes, and so did Doom 3 under wine. It ran without any noticeable problems for me.
