Do you get a backtrace or any other output after dismissing the crash dialog?

This is strange:
0027:trace:mmdevapi:load_driver Unable to load L"winealsa.drv": 126
0027:trace:mmdevapi:init_driver Failed to load driver L"alsa"

Even with Ubuntu's modifications, I'd expect the ALSA driver to still exist.


Your setup seems very strange. Can you try with an unmodified version Wine?
