[Bug 12687] Karafun only starts after installation - fails to start after that

root(a)gv01ws2895:/home/william# sysctl -w vm.mmap_min_addr=0
vm.mmap_min_addr = 0

..same problem. I'm not getting these messages anymore:
preloader: Warning: failed to reserve range 00000000-00010000
..but the rest of the output remains the same as before.
