'winetricks -q vcrun2019' works out of the box here in 64-bit WINEPREFIX and Wine 5.6. It's daily tested by many users. If there would be a general problem it would have been quickly noticed in Winetricks' issue tracker: https://github.com/Winetricks/winetricks/issues It could be anything in you case. * outdated 'winetricks' script * broken WINEPREFIX * broken Wine wrapper (in case you're not using plain/vanilla Wine) * missing/broken distro/host packages * permission problems We don't have a magic glass ball. If you want to be helped, you need to be more cooperative, providing more information. * 'winetricks --version' * proof that it fails in clean (new!)
