I noticed the top of this stack (ddraw_allocate_handle()) is identical to that in bug 30825. I believe X-wing 95 uses a modified engine of X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter, so this may be a duplicate of that one. I found an X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter demo here: ftp://ftp.lucasarts.com/demos/pc/xvtdemo.exe However, I was unable to reproduce this crash with it because the demo was completely unplayable for me (some error about not being able to create a direct input device).
