x600 and fglrx 8.29.6.
From what I have found it's fglrx fault. Upgrade the driver to newest version possible.
With the latest ati drivers, the demo still doesn't render correctly. In the game, all I see is a very bright glow. With a nvidia card, the demo works fine.
