http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19733 --- Comment #7 from Carlton Hobbs <carlton.hobbs(a)gmail.com> 2009-08-15 14:37:46 --- Playing on Windows 7 fails with a warning that D3DRM.DLL is missing. Searching in Wine for that, I see that it is bug 8232 and has lots of old duplicate bugs for the past 2 years. So I tried to copy that DLL over from WinXP, but that does not change anything, still a black screen. I tried it on Ubuntu 8.04 with Nvidia proprietary driver and it never crashes, just has a black screen but gives the additional error: fixme:x11drv:X11DRV_desktop_SetCurrentMode Cannot change screen BPP from 32 to 8
From a search on that, I guess that the main problem is 5 year old existing major bug 2082, or possibly bug 1347.
Back to the original crash issue, I think that must be related to the open source ATI driver. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
