[Bug 24279] starting a wine application spins up external hard drive

I could understand if it was restarting opening a file on the hard drive but
this is simply opening any wine program.
Using a native app such as Gedit I get even one directory down into the drive
(on the 'Open' dialog) before it has to spin up (presumably for a folder which
has not been opened this boot, or whatever)
