Do you have any STALKER updates installed ? I'm using patch 1.006.I seem to recall other issues with STALKER in the past that were fixed with an updated patch, such as the flickering grass bug.
Yup, game patched. So patch didn't correct nothing. Still present in wine 1.1.40.
