I installed the Apogee RockSim v9 demo. (RockSim 8 works perfectly)

The first screen with the "this is a trail version" window is displayed
flawlessly. (Screenshot-1.png)

Then I press the Try button and I get a screwed screen (Screenshot-2.png)

I tried turning off compiz, but it doesn't help.
