Mitch: please forward all beer and pizza to Alexandre.  The crash version is
1.1.7-142 so you probably are not yet seeing it yet.  1.1.8 should be out soon,
so if you are using 2.6.24 kernel (Hardy maybe?) it would be interesting/useful
to know if you get the crash with 1.1.8.  I am at 1.1.7-352 in Intrepid and
still crashing.
