If at all possible, a dev will want to reproduce on their own machine. It may be someone who doesn't know what the software is even supposed to do. It may take a few years at which point it's unclear if the bug was accidentally fixed in the mean time. That's why exact reproduction steps and links to the specific software version are important.
I understand, it makes sense and I will remember that (or try to at least) for the future.
And I guess the problem that makes it not appear in game may comes from somewhere else ? How do you start Guild Wars? If you have it in Steam and just press the play button there, the game and blish will launch in different wine prefixes and not even see each other.
I don't use Steam for GW2, I have the game installed (using Wine iirc) on its own. Now I'm only starting to get the concept of prefixes, so I guess the problem could come from there. I should probably check where in Wine is installed Guild Wars and start Blish from the same place ? Prefixes are like... directories of sorts ? I'm not sure to understand it correctly. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
