Actually, you can't even XOpenDevice the core pointer for whatever reason, and
it looks like x11drv_xinput2_init is only trying to listen to the core devices
in the first place, so I think the most it could do is just clear
device_mapping (otoh, it's not like button_count is being used at the moment,
so it's extra harmless to do all that).
