[Bug 24598] And Yet It Moves gives only black screen

I found a way to restore my desktop after the black screen, without restarting
the X server:
In the terminal you launched the game kill the process by CTRL+C and type
blindly: nvidia-settings <Enter>. This opens up the Nvidia control panel and
restores the screen.
Of course, this only works if you have the Nvidia proprietary drivers are
installed.
