Ah yes, I'm going to also test this on my Intel i915.

Forgot to mention that MEDIUM and LOW graphics triggers these console messages:
err:d3d_surface:d3dfmt_p8_init_palette This code should never get entered for
DirectDraw!, expect problems

I think alexd4 knows these! :)
