Oops, made an error in my test.  I had updated my drivers to 177.82, and didn't
restart before I tested.  Now when I run it I see the splash screen, then it
crashes.

I get this as a backtrace from the terminal:
Backtrace:
=>1 0x0041eeb8 in fairy (+0x1eeb8) (0x00000098)
  2 0x00000000 (0x00000000)

Not sure if that helps any.
