[Bug 26834] SlingPlayer 1.5 UI very slow to respond

Still present in wine-1.3.30-45-ga843ace

Performance does seem to have improved but still lags well behind Windows.  The
improvement, however, could simply be due to me using a newer, more powerful
system.
