The problem with the message in this patch is that it doesn't give the user much help: the key is of course to look in /proc/sys/vm/mmap_min_addr -- I mean, what is the poor user who doesn't already know the answer to do? I'd suggest changing the text "edit /etc/sysctl.conf" to the more helpful "add the line vm.mmap_min_addr=0 to /etc/sysctl.conf".
