I do this by: LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 wine ~/.wine/drive_c/Diablo\ II/Game.exe Unfortunately starting with abf8728e1f2f966650eaa5528a1f593a6e1986bb software renderer doesn't work correctly anymore.
