The sound in the main menu is ok, the game looks good, but one the progress bar reaches 100%, everything just disappears and I see my KDE desktop in the resolution set by CS:S. The video stress test works ok, without problem. The games was installed in Steam and with winetricks. Blacklisting of gameoverlayrenderer.dll didn't do the trick. DirectX9 is installed. Some other Valve games work correctly (Left2Dead for instance), but some crash (Portal 2, on main menu) the same way. The last messages I see in the logs are:

Version of my Wine is 1.5.0 (Arch Linux).
