FWIW, I've added ie3 to winetricks. I'll add ie4/5 as well, when I've got time/find the recipes.
Thanks! That should make it easier to test. Though, I noticed that winetricks fails to find the installer unless I cd to the cache directory first... There are instructions for installing IE4 on AppDB. The only DLL override required to install it is advpack, though. The rest are to get native rendering/interface and/or work around bugs. (There are instructions for IE 5.0 and 5.5 as well, but I haven't checked whether those still work in a while...)
