This also changes the error on liquid detail tooltips to "Update your graphics drivers" for levels above "Fair". Simply bumping the nvidia driver versions in wined3d's directx.c to the latest windows versions allows me to select everything up to ultra settings in d3d9 mode on wine. Only problem here is liquid detail above "Fair" produces no water effects at all.
